Q1 Who receives the fee?
The 1% fee is split 50/50 between the evaluator oracle node and the LogicNodes contract treasury. The evaluator oracle is the node that evaluated your condition and signed the Proof of Logic receipt. The treasury funds ongoing protocol development and on-chain infrastructure. No third party, no intermediary cut.
Q2 When is the fee charged?
The fee is deducted only on successful settlement — meaning the condition evaluated to PASS and funds were released to the payee. If the condition evaluates to FAIL, or if the escrow times out before evaluation, the payer receives a 100% refund of the locked amount. No fee is charged on failed or expired escrows.
Q3 What currency is supported?
LogicNodes uses USDC on Base mainnet for all escrow operations. Fiat on-ramp is available via Stripe (auto-converts to USDC). Coinbase Commerce and Circle USDC issuance are also natively supported. Stablecoins on other EVM chains are planned for a future release.
Q4 Are there rate limits?
There are no rate limits on the free trial or paid usage. LogicNodes is designed for high-frequency machine-to-machine environments — AI agent swarms, automated pipelines, and programmatic settlement flows are the primary use case. Scale to any volume.
